Jade Shadows: Constellations is Here: New Content, Stalker, and Railjack!
Attention, Tenno! The wait is over. The highly anticipated "Jade Shadows: Constellations" update is now live in Warframe, serving as a direct continuation of the "Jade Shadows" saga released in 2024. This new installment plunges us back into the complex life of the Stalker, now grappling with the responsibilities of fatherhood, as Orion and Sirius arrive in the Orb Vallis.
New Characters and Warframes: Vena and Ryoku
Alongside the rival siblings, two new characters make their debut, promising to shake things up: Vena, the proto-Warframe version of Garuda, and Ryoku, the proto-Warframe of Ash. Each takes one of the siblings under their wing, playing a crucial role in the unfolding conflict. While they won't be immediately available as playable Warframes, they can be recruited as crew members for your Railjack, assigned roles, and equipped with your preferred weapons.
Railjack Expansion and New Missions
Completing the new "Jade Shadows: Constellations" quest will unlock the Proxima Uranus region on the Railjack star chart. Here, you'll find two new mission nodes, each intrinsically linked to Vena and Ryoku. These missions are designed to be more narrative-driven and multiplayer-oriented, allowing you to pilot Ryoku's or Vena's ships in direct combat. Furthermore, the arrival of "Steel Path" to Railjack has been confirmed, promising a greater challenge for seasoned players.
Nidus Tweaks and More Additions
The update doesn't just bring new content; it also enhances the existing gameplay experience. Nidus will receive a significant ability rework, featuring a substantial health increase and general improvements to make him more accessible and enjoyable in combat. New Warframe Augments have also been announced, though only two have been detailed so far. Customization enthusiasts can look forward to new skins, such as Dante's Tytonis skin, Noctua's Lophos skin, and the Gallistrix Warfan skin. Additionally, Mesa Prime will receive an optional new long coat.
Operation: Belly of the Beast Returns
Before diving headfirst into the June additions, "Operation: Belly of the Beast" returns from May 4th to June 1st. Players can acquire both new and returning rewards, including exclusive clan items. To participate, you must have completed the "Jade Shadows" and "The New War" quests. Taking on Jade Light Eximus units will earn you "volatile shards" to redeem for rewards, and you can even join another squad's mission as the Stalker.
